About Us

Lincoln Engineers Pty Ltd was established in Port Lincoln, South Australia over 42 years ago in 1966,
hence the name. From that time the company has gained substantial experience in all types of steel work
and has serviced many and varied South Australian builders and developers throughout that time.

Lincoln Engineers Pty Ltd specialise in the following areas of steel manufacturing:

• Structural Steel work ranging from light to heavy for Industrial and commercial buildings.
• Metalwork, platform and ladder work.
• Residential & domestic steel fabrication.

Management Structure

Lincoln Engineers Pyt Ltd employs a range of managers, project managers; site and workshop
supervisors all capable of coordinating projects and all of whom have vast experience in structural steel
fabrication and erection.

Steel Drafting

Lincoln Engineers Pty Ltd has an in-house drafting department currently in use of the latest version
of X-Steel (Version 16.0). X-Steel is a 3D steel drafting program capable of detailing structural steel quickly
and accuratley with the ability to view the structure in 3D Model. In addition to this Lincoln Engineers
have over the years worked with various sub-contractors who know the importance of providing quality
work and who are capable of working to very tight programme restraints when required.

Workshop Information

Lincoln Engineers Pty Ltd has over 6,000 sqm undercover area with 3 fabrication bays,
built on approximately 20,000 sqm of land.

We currently employ approximately 25 Boilermakers/Welders and Machine Operators with capacity
to increase that number to 30 employees dependant on contractual commitments.

Workshop production is approximately 300-500 tonnes per month, dependant on type of steel work.

Welding processes offfered is Mig Welding & Metal Arc Welding. All weld testing is carried
out by an exteraal company Amdel Pty Ltd who can accommodate all types of testing.

Operating Overhead Cranes 8 x 5 Tonne, 2 x 7 Tonne with 7m of hook height.

Processing Machinery: 3 x Cropping & Pumping Machines, 150T Brake Press, 12mm Guilotine,
Band Saws capable of cutting beams to 1200mm capacity.

CNC Beam Cutting & Drill Line: DAITO DS400, CSD1350 Carbide Super Drill.

Steel Treatment

Lincoln Engineers Pty Ltd has its own paint bay for ROZP Steel Treatment, all galvanising, inorganic zinc
and other requested paint treatment is carried out externally at specialised companies who can produce work
in more cost effective and timely manner.

Quality Assurance

Lincoln Engineers Pty Ltd has an in-house quality control system applied to each job which ensures
our quality of work complies with Australian Standards & Industry requirements.
Lincoln Engineers Pty Ltd is accredited to AN/NZS ISO 9001:2008.

Mobile Cranes & Transport

Lincoln Engineers Pty Ltd erection department currently employs approximately 15 erectores/site boilermakers,
crane drivers and riggers who work amongs four separate erection crews. Each crew is accommodated with its own
site vehicle, mobile welders, scissor lifts, boom lifts and other specialised tools which are necessary for structural
steel erection. In addition to this Lincoln Engineers Pty Ltd also work closely with various sub contractors in the
steel erection indusry which provide a quality service and who work in conjuctiong with our project management
team to ensure a professional job is achieved every time.
